Sanoplant is a patented and proven mineral-based product that was developed at BOKU University in Vienna. It is guaranteed by the manufacturer, Sanoway Gmbh of Austria, to reduce irrigation water usage by a minimum of 50% and to remain effective for at least 10 years (this is not the lifespan).
Sanoplant is a completely natural material made from a special blend of natural silicate stone powders and organic binding materials. Sanoplant was designed to increase the water holding capacity of sandy soils and to create an ideal combination of Air: Water: Nutrients in the soil. A major attribute of Sanoplant is that a much higher proportion of retained water is plant available compared with other water retaining products.
